We ate breakfast here two days in a row. The biscuit sandwich with egg, bacon and cheddar was fantastic. The grits and coffee were very good. Our waitress told us about the fried chicken so we came back for dinner. The fried chicken was very crunchy and tasty. I got the collard greens and southern slaw with it. The staff is super friendly and everything tasted homemade. A

Food was pretty good, our server Tim was extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. Lots of seafood on the menu. Our table was at the back so it was a bit quieter than up front.

Great laid back atmosphere, everyone was super friendly, great vibe all around. As for the food, I tried the she crab soup and the fried ribs. Both were delicious, but those ribs were insane. Super crunchy on the outside, so tender on the inside you could cut the meat with a spoon. The sauce with the ribs was delicious, little spicy little sweet.

We went for brunch on a Friday morning. The food was wonderful!! I was actually shocked how good the brunch was. I got the plate with bacon, sausage, eggs, grits, pancake, and toast (server mentioned it was newer to the menu). It was WONDERFUL! The coffee was smooth and not sour which was greatly appreciated. My only regret was that we could’ve gone back again before we left! Will definitely go back again next time we are here!

CHEERS! What a great little bar. It reminds me of the quaint atmosphere of a Cheers-like place - everyone knows your name. I had the salmon with a Tabasco maple glaze and it was INCREDIBLE!! I had Mac-n-cheese for a side and slaw for another side. The MNC was dynamite! It had a great, rich, cheesy flavor with a thin crust of cooked cheese on it. The slaw was a mayonnaise and vinegar blend with a light flavor but tangy and good. The banana pudding looked great in case you want dessert. The service was fast and friendly.

Awesome experience today for Easter brunch. The food was fantastic, and our waitress was so nice and attentive. It was our first visit here, and we will definitely be back!

This place is amazing. I’ll name a few. Shrimp and grits (creamy, juicy shrimp, a little spice...), had the special pecan and crusted flounder. (Sweet, tender, juicy, large portion). Biscuits and gravy (perfect), breakfast burrito was actually great.

I recently visited Virginia’s on King in Charleston, and it was an incredible experience. I had the meatloaf sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious—comfort food at its finest, with rich flavors and the perfect balance of ingredients. My girlfriend tried the double loaded potato special, and it was nothing short of amazing—creative, flavorful, and so satisfying. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere had that cozy Southern charm that makes you want to stay a while. Virginia’s on King is definitely a place we’ll return to for more incredible dishes and great hospitality. Highly recommended!
